The role of snakes in the ecological balance is unique.

They are an integral part of the natural food chain. They protect crops by eating rats and insects and maintain the balance of nature. Snakes eat rats, mice and harmful insects. This saves the agricultural sector from crop damage and controls diseases spread by rats. Snakes are both predators and prey.

limit their numbers by eating small creatures and themselves become food for vultures, eagles and wild animals. Snakes are most affected by any change in the environment, pollution or deforestation.

The presence of snakes in a place indicates the biodiversity and environmental situation of the area. Snakes should not be afraid, if a snake enters the house, then chase it away with a long broom and leave through the same way it entered.
