UG Induction Meeting 2026 Held at Rayagada Autonomous College

Rayagada, August 29:An Undergraduate (UG) Induction Meeting 2026 was organised at Rayagada Autonomous College, Rayagada, to welcome and acquaint newly admitted undergraduate students with the academic environment, facilities, rules and examination system of the college.The programme was attended by Principal Dr. Saraswati Ray ,Administrative Bursar Mrs. T. Jyoti, Associate Administrative Bursar Lt. Uday Naik, Academic Bursar Mr. Ramesh Chandra Huika, Associate Academic Bursar Dr. Lizarani Sathpathy and PG Council Chairman Mr. P. Arun Kumar along with faculty members from the Arts, Commerce and Science departments.

The programme began with an introductory address by Principal Dr. Saraswati Ray, who welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of discipline, regular attendance, academic commitment and active participation in various college activities. She also familiarised the students with the academic environment and opportunities available at the institution.Faculty members from the Arts, Commerce and Science departments introduced themselves and shared information about their respective departments, courses and the functioning of the college. Their interaction helped the students become familiar with the teaching faculty and gain a better understanding of college life.

Controller of Examinations Mr. Y. V. Sai Madhav explained the examination system of the college and briefed the students about examination procedures, evaluation methods, academic requirements and important responsibilities to be followed during examinations.The induction programme provided a valuable platform for the newly admitted students to interact with the college administration and faculty members. It also aimed to help students understand the academic expectations and opportunities available to them during their college journey.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Tubal Kumar Benya of the Department of Economics , He expressed gratitude to the Principal, administrative and academic authorities, faculty members and all those who contributed to the successful organisation of the induction meeting. He also extended his best wishes to the newly admitted students for a successful and enriching academic journey.
