Two arrested for two-wheeler thefts; six Stolen vehicles seized in Berhampur by Baidyanathpur Police

Berhampur,(26/05/26):Baidyanathpur Police arrested two persons involved in a motorcycle theft racket.
On llast Monday at about 11:00 AM, complainant Rabindra Kumar Sahu parked his Blue Bajaj Pulsar NS125 (OD07AQ4512) in front of Axis Bank, Jayaprakash Nagar Branch, Berhampur. When he returned after 15 minutes, the motorcycle was missing
.
The accused duo detained with the help of General public on Tuesday. On interrogation and leading to discovery, five more stolen motorcycles were recovered from the shed of scrap dealer S. Niranjan Reddy at Mandiapalli Chhaka. Both accused persons were allegedly stealing motorcycles from different places and parking them at the shed for sale. Accused S. Niranjan Reddy runs a scrap business.
Senior police officials commended the special investigation team for cracking the theft cases and recovering the stolen vehicles.
Arrested Accused dup identified as ;
1. K. Umakant Patra (29 yrs), S/o K. Baluya Patra, Karinipada Uppar Sahi, PO: Bania, PS: Khalikote.
2. S. Niranjan Reddy (28 yrs), S/o S. Balaram Reddy, Vill: Raghunathpur, PO: Narendrapur, PS: Chamakhandi.
