Sex Racket Allegedly Operating from Residential House Busted Near Anugola Bus Stand; Kingpin, Two Customers Arrested

Two Women Rescued During Joint Raid by Special Squad and Police

Anugola, Sept. 25, 2026: A suspected sex racket allegedly operating from a residential house in the Amalapada area near the Old Bus Stand in Anugola was busted during a joint raid by the Anugola Special Squad and local police.

Acting on intelligence regarding alleged illegal activities at the premises, a joint team conducted a surprise raid at the house during the evening.

Police identified the house owner as Rajesh Swain, who was allegedly involved in organising the operation from the premises. Swain was arrested along with two alleged customers who were reportedly present at the location when the raid was conducted.

During the operation, police also rescued two women from the premises. Various articles described by police as objectionable materials were reportedly seized during the search.

The arrested persons were taken to the police station for questioning. Police are reportedly examining the circumstances surrounding the operation and investigating whether the premises was linked to any wider network.
