POST OFFICE AT MOHANA TO BE SHIFTED TO ADAVA (!).

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Since long 60 years Sub-Post Office is functioning at a rented house.Since last 17 years on one rented house office is operated.Being the block head quarter it has a vast radious for circulation from Brahmanigaon of Kandhamal district to local major panchayats like Chandragiri, Luhagudi, Mandimera, Raipanka of Mohana block where more than 50 thousands customers depending on post office.Owner of rented building given notice to leave their premises & choose elsewhere but authority hiding the same in a corner with a plea unavailable of any building for rented purposes.
They are restricted with fixed rent & Agreement lapsed between 2 parties (post office & owner)on 2017.Till date no action being taken to shift the post office & too evading increase of rent with renewal agreement. Complain given to their next authority at Rayagada district head quarter,concerned Post Master,Sarpanch,BDO Mohana,Elected Representatives,GPEO & higher authorities.It is rumoured on farthest case if hiring building not available then office may be shifted to Adava which may bring anguish among local public.So now Bar Association Members,local public are taken dimunitive stand to campaign against lacklusture arrogance of authorities.While contacting BDO Mohana Bansidhar Khosla on his version agreed to take alternative place soon.But Rayagada Authorities yet to give any signal on such jinx.
