MLA Narasingh Madakami Distributes Clothes and Study Materials to Skill Development Trainees in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, September 9, 2026:A special distribution programme aimed at supporting skill development and promoting self-employment among rural youth was held in Malkangiri district on Wednesday, with MLA Narasingh Madakami attending as the chief guest.
During the programme, the MLA distributed clothes and study materials to trainees undergoing vocational courses at the Black Panther Skill Development Training Centre and Gramtaranga Skill Development Training Centre.
At the Black Panther Skill Development Training Centre, clothes and study materials were distributed to 29 trainees enrolled in the General Service Assistant course. Similarly, 20 trainees undergoing the Sewing Machine Operator course at Gramtaranga Skill Development Training Centre received the materials.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Narasingh Madakami encouraged the trainees to make full use of the training opportunities and develop skills that would help them secure employment and become economically self-reliant.
District Skill Development and Employment Officer Gupta Madhi was also present and motivated the trainees to complete their courses successfully and pursue suitable employment or self-employment opportunities.
The two centres are conducting the free training programmes under the Employment-Based Training Programme, with the objective of equipping rural youth with job-oriented skills and creating opportunities for direct employment in the futur
