Malkangiri Civil Court to Hold National Lok Adalat on September 12

Malkangiri, September 9, 2026:
The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Malkangiri, will organise the third National Lok Adalat on September 12 at the Civil Court Complex in Malkangiri.
The Lok Adalat will provide an opportunity for parties involved in eligible disputes to settle their cases amicably through mutual agreement, without undergoing prolonged court proceedings.
Cases relating to civil disputes, compoundable criminal matters, matrimonial disputes, motor accident compensation claims, bank loan recovery, and electricity and water-related disputes will be taken up during the National Lok Adalat. Pre-litigation matters will also be considered for settlement.
According to the DLSA, parties participating in the Lok Adalat will not be required to pay any court fee for the settlement process.
DLSA Secretary Sangita Patra has appealed to litigants and eligible parties with settleable disputes to make use of the opportunity to resolve their matters through mutual settlement and avoid the time and expense associated with prolonged litigation.
