MIGRANTS BACK ON THEIR OWN COST (!),85% & 15% (?).

KALAHANDI:So many migrant labourers are returning to Kalahandi on their own cost. After lock down their work places are closed and even they could not able to get fooding to survive , the returnees says. Further it is in their mind that they should survive with family. Though State Govt arranged for online registration for returning home of the migrant laborers but so many laborers are returning home by walking, by bicycles and by private vehicles on their own cost.
On 24.05.2020 the 43 migrants belongs to Hatipakhan and Beheraguda village under Dharamgarh Block returned by a private Bus no.GA.03.W.3321 hired from the Sai Tour & Travels of Panaji , GOA for an amount of Rs.1,95,000/- as rent . As they have no money with them they have collected money from their home and paid the hiring charge of the bus to return back to their home. The returnees are kept at Jayantpur TMC.
Like that On 24.05.2020 the 43 migrants belongs to Chhanchanbahali village under Dharamgarh block returned by a private Bus no.NH.09 CV.0097 hired from the National Express Travel agency of Panaji , GOA for an amount of Rs.2,30,000/- as rent . As they have no money with them they have borrowed money from the owner of the factory where they are working as advance wages and paid the hiring charge of the bus to return back to their home. The returnees are kept at Chhanchanbahali TMC.
The system adopted by the central Govt & state Govt ( 85% + 15% ) for the return of the migrants could not provide facilities to the labourers and so that the migrants are facing a lot of problems, says the intellectuals.
