Bhubaneswar:Priti , who was 6 years younger to me. she was admitted to into Utkal Hospital and a massive stroke took her away from all of us, leaving us in deep agony.

i was the second child in our family, the eldest was Prativa apa, who was followed by myself, Pravat, and Pragti. then came Priti after three brothers and was mostly loved by all of us she was very cute and quite healthy by then my grandmother ( bou mama) was alive she loved Priti so much that she never allowed her to sleep separately and always put her in her caring artms. till she breathed her last due to massive cardiac arrest.

My parents considered her as very lucky as she was followed by eight daughters. My parents were always proud of being parents of four sons and nine daughters.

Priti was married to Rabindra Mohan Mohanty, younger brother of Prof, Latindra Mohan Mohanty and elder brother of my most intimate friend Nagendar Mohan Mohanty.

Priti was a cring daughter, sister, and mother who has three sons and three daughters, all of them are well educated and well placed.  She loved to help and serve the people in need and was helping needy ladies for admission into the capital hospital along with her like-minded friends like Smt. Ashalata  Dash, Smt.Suprava  Ray, etc.

She was well known to almost all the good Physicians and surgeons like Dr Panaga Bhusan Dash, Dr. Nisakar Panda, Dr.Seva Mohapatra, Dr. Promod Achararya and many others.

She was taking care of most of the patients who were coming to capital hospitals for treatment and was known for her selfless social activity like my parents. she loved all the four sister-in-laws Chandraprava, Shanti  Prava, Atula and Jhuma.

She was taking the lead in organising and joining family get-togethers along with Chandraprava . with her sad demise, i lost two out of nine sisters praying lord Jagannath and Siridi Sai Baba to place her pious soul under their lotus feet and give strength to all of us to bear this great loss with heavy hearts.

On 18th,November, last year, i lost my loving younger brother Pravat and within 7 months I lost my most loving 2nd sister Priti .

it is too much painful to bear such losses. The almighty may be kind enough not to give su much pain to anyone.
