Colourful Cultural Performances Light Up Hillpatna School Annual Day

BRAHMAPUR; 30/03 : The Annual Day of Hillpatna Government Upper Primary School was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur on the school premises, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The event witnessed active participation from students, teachers and parents, reflecting a strong sense of community spirit.
BeMC Mayor Sanghamitra Dalei attended as the Chief Guest. In her address, she emphasised the importance of holistic education, stating that students should not remain confined to text books alone but actively participate in sports, cultural activities and moral learning for overall personality development. She lauded the dedication and hard work of the teachers and urged students to uphold values of discipline, perseverance and integrity to become responsible citizens.
ADEO Prabhati Kumari Mohapatra, who joined as the keynote speaker, highlighted education as the strongest foundation of life that guides individuals towards the right path. She encouraged students to set high goals and work consistently towards achieving them. She also stressed that coordination between parents and teachers is essential for shaping a bright future for children.
The programme was presided over by Headmistress Sasmita Mohapatra, who presented the annual report, outlining the school’s achievements and various activities conducted throughout the year.
Students enthralled the audience with a range of cultural performances, including dance, music, drama and other artistic presentations, adding colour and charm to the celebration. Meritorious students were felicitated with prizes and certificates for their achievements in various competitions.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the teaching staff. It was attended by guests, teachers, SMC and CCH members, marking the successful culmination of the programme.
