Chikiti PEO Death Row Controversy Further Intensified(!)

Berhampur,(10/0.26):The mysterious death of Dandapani Patra, a Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) Ramchandrapur Panchayat under Chikiti block in Ganjam district, sparked a severe administrative controversy following his suicide after a woman Ms.Sasawati Sarangi Additional Tehsildar accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour.
Sunday the wife of deceased Patra.Janaki Patra adding further intensified the administrative controversy, directly targeting ATDR of Chikiti Block.(!).Praying to District administration as well to police administration for her natural justice.
Smt Patra invited a press meet at PWD,IB Conference hall..While addressing media Smt.Patra directly charging to Ms.Saswati Sarangi,additiona tahasildar.
Joining the press meet Senior advocate DeepakPatnaik soughed and pointed out many poce lapses (!) When family member given their written FIR against additional Tehesildar bu why and what compulsion the case has not been registered by police(?) and why the statement was not recorded at Hospital(?).
She bluntly alleged that, During a marathon event organized on February 3, 2026, for the Sunapur Beach Mahotsav, a woman Additional Tehsildar accused Patra of misconduct and sexual harassment. Abuse her husband,assaulted in publis place which her husband couldn’t digested very next day 4th feb Dandapani consume poison and committed suicide by leaving a suicidal note addressing to local Police (?).But police suppressed the suicidal hand note she alleged..On critical Condition Dandapani shifted and admitted to MKCG- MCH hospital fight for life continuously for 14 days finally succumbed on 17th Feb,2026
