BJP Leaders Mark PM Modi’s Birthday with ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in Brahmapur

Brahmapur, Sept. 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Brahmapur observed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Thursday by launching a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, scheduled from September 17 to October 17.
As part of the programme, BJP leaders and workers gathered at the Mukteshwar Temple in Military Lane under Brahmapur Municipal Corporation and offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s long life, good health and continued public service.
The organisers said the campaign was being conducted to mark Prime Minister Modi’s birthday and commemorate his 25 years of uninterrupted public service and nation-building journey. As part of the celebrations, participants lit lamps and distributed sweets among devotees and local residents.
The programme was held under the guidance of senior Ganjam district BJP leader S. Rani. Local residents also participated in the lamp-lighting activities organised as part of the campaign.
Addressing the gathering, party leaders highlighted the themes of public service, development and nation-building associated with the Prime Minister’s leadership.
They said the month-long campaign would focus on various service-oriented activities and connect party workers with people at the grassroots level.
Among those present were BJP State Executive Committee member Kahnu Charan Pati, senior party leader Sunil Kumar Sahu, who is in charge of the Asika, Brahmapur and Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituencies, district vice-president Prabhat Kiran Sarangi, district general secretary Siddhant Gangadev, MP representative Balakrishna Samantara, former OBC Morcha State Convenor S. Srinivas, district OBC Morcha president and senior advocate Madan Mohan Patra, and several other party leaders and workers.
Bhavagrahi Pal, Saroj Patra, Dharmaraj Panigrahi, Manabhanjan Pattnaik, Gouri Mohanty, Narayan Sahu, Santosh Pattnaik, Pradeep Sahu, Venkat Rao, Shankar Sahu, Shipra Saha, Manjula Rao, Pinky Saha and Anuradha Rao were among others present.
More than a hundred BJP leaders, workers and local residents participated in the programme.
