UAIL Organises Mega Blood Donation Camp: 235 Units of Blood Collected

Rayagada, 17/8: Utkal Alumina International Ltd (UAIL), a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries under the Aditya Birla Group, organised a mega blood donation camp through its CSR Department at the Nuapada Township Club House in collaboration with the District Headquarters Hospital, Rayagada, on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.

With the noble objective of promoting the message that “Blood Donation is a Great Donation,” the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community and company employees. A total of 235 units of blood were collected during the camp.

The camp was formally inaugurated by Unit Head Mr. Rabi Narayan Mishra. Senior management team members, CSR Head Ms. Lopamudra Mishra, Plant CSR Department Head Mr. Diganta Mohanty and key members of the CSR team were present on the occasion. CMO of Utkal Hospital Dr. Ranjan Kumar Lenka, Dr. Rajendra Mandal and AVP, Refinery Engineering, Mr. Girija Panda were also present and monitored the blood donation camp.

CSR team members Mr. Sudhir Kumar Nayak, Mr. Rupen Patnaik, Mr. Soumya Ranjan Swain, Mr.Gajendra Naik, Mr. Satyabhama Nayak, Mr. Kartikeswar Sahoo, Mr.Mohini Naik, Mr. Gouri Sankar, Ms.Sasmita, Mr.Kamdev, Mr. Badal, Ms.Liza, Mr.Hemalata, Ms.Nirupama and Ms.Devi played an active role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp.
