EYE SCREENING CAMP BY JKPM
Rayagada (Badal Tah): An eye screening camp was organized at Devdalaguda village under Kumutipenth Panchayat, Rayagada Block by CSR Department of JK Paper Mills in association with LV Prasad Eye Institute(LVPEI), Pitamahal. Minketan Kondagori, Senior Ophthalmologist from LVPEI conducted eye examinations of forty three patients. Four cataract patients, 5 ptyrism patients and 21 visual impairment patients were identified by LV Prasad Ophthalmology deptt. After obtaining fitness certificate of patients from JK Dispensary they will be sent to LVPEI, Pitamahal for operation. About 200 patients are treated every month through the Project Roshni. All patients are given free medicines and spectacles after surgery. Hari Har Khamari, Dy Manager (PR & CSR) is moderating the entire program.
