Kharikua Villagers Aloof From Drinking Water

Paralakhemundi-Drinking water needed for ever person at least 15 litres for an adult is highly essential. But minimum need of water is not available at some rural areas. So also a remote village named Kharikua of Mohana panchayat & block of Gajapati facing distress of drinking water.

 Among 20 households 120 population filled village feeling acute shortage of drinking water. Not a single tubewell too available, rather 40 years back at an agriculture field end of the village one dugwell available but that is not useful for drinking purpose. Moreso villagers using Harbhangi river water which is polluted due to unclean hygiene. Despite reported to BDO, Sarpanch, Samiti Member in written nothing succeeded. Ward member Pari Sabar, Martha Sabar, Mery Gamango, Bijayanti Sabar, Santani Sabar, Emi Gamango, Indoyi Sabar, Danial Sabar, Santial Sabar, Benjamin Gamango & Koin Sabar earnestly requested to sort out their accute problem though remain under block headquarter panchayat.
