Bhubaneswar: Due to good Samaritan work by youths and their mankind to the Society in Odisha, IGP, STF-Eow Mr. Jay naryan Pankaj, IPS rewarded Cash with citation.

Brief of Sri Kumuda Sethi
On 18.12.2023, after kidnapping of the minor girl Pihu Agrawal, the accused persons took the girl to the Hotel Parvati Residency, Sundargarh for night stay. On arrival in the hotel at the reception, Kumuda Sethi asked them to produce ID proof but they denied. On this, Kumuda Sethi straight away refused them to provide a room at the Hotel. Since the news about the kidnapping of the minor girl is circulated in the news and social media by that time and from the behaviour of the accused persons, Kumuda Sethi suspected them and informed Deogarh Police immediately.
For his presence of mind and timely response, the rescue of the minor victim was possible.
Brief of Sri Laxmee Kant Mishra
Soon after the kidnapping of the minor girl, the police teams of Deogarh district and other neighbouring police districts came in to action immediately. Finding no other way, the kidnappers had to drop the minor victim under Bhoipali flyover of Sundargarh district and fled away from the spot. By hearing the crying sound of the minor victim, Laxmee Kant Mishra came out of his house and rescued her and informed the police.
Due to his Good Samaritan work, the minor girl could be rescued safely.
