World Veterinary Day Observed in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi:On behalf of district veterinary department World Veterinary Day observed. At Kharsonda veterinary health camp orgainzed,where 204 cattles covering cows, bullocks & goats health check up done & medicines given. At ZP conference hall a meeting organized.Presided by Dr. Ramakant Rana, Collector Gajapati Lingraj Panda graced as chief guest where SP Swathy. S. Kumar,Chief Development Officer cum Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Romanchal Khamari, PD Watershed Suresh Kumar Patnaik, Susant Das Deputy Director of Horticulture graced on dias as guests of honor. Collector Panda is hopeful to bring full reliance on production of eggs, meats of goatery & chicks. Proposal of milk production unit to be taken soon, he added. 9 farmers of different blocks of the district honored by the guests. From Mohana block Krishna Mahakuda for goatery, Duryodhan Raita of RUdayagiri for broiler chicks, Subas Chandan Patra of Nuagada for country chicks, Ajitsen Androp of Rayagada for cattle, Chiranjib Raita for egg production chicks, Laxmi SHG of Gumma for goatery, for piggery Mojesh Sabar of Kashinagar, for fodder farm Bijay Dora & Eppili Vasu for lamb farming are honored.
