Paralakhemundi-A great initiative by Gajapati Police to transform better livelihoods for poverty stricken backward community.Chaired by SDPO RUdayagiri Rakesh Kumar Sahu,Sarpanchs of Mohana block invited,where on convergence Block Agriculture Officer was also present.
To ensure better transformation through agriculture productivity & access to local resources with ensured food security & better marketing discussed.To make drug free zone & attain sustainable livelihoods strategy discussed.
Transportation on illegal cannabis not only tarnish families of those convicts, but also turned towards poverty.They are illegally trapped by such jinx & they can stimulate their better livelihoods through agricultural crops & other productivity from on farm & off farm activities.
Area too smooth on horticulture products as more hilly zone covered. Once the area quantified huge products like maize, pineapple & other products, better alternatives can enrich their changes on livelihoods once they show their interest.
A great initiative by young SP to excel drug free zone highly accoladed from all corners.
