Paralkhemundi,( 06/07/26):On launching of scholar Purnachandra Mohapatra’s epic book “Bharare Swadhinataro Adyanado”,Vice Chancellor (VC)of Utkal University Chandi Prasad Nanda on his inaugural address lauded script as a crystal of Odia literature.His non-stop writing is a great appeal for coming generation to discover passion on skilled writings.Every endeavor on present stage particularly for research scholar to keep momentum reviving truth & elegance on past memories.Reviewing his writings on freedom jolts,writer truely fabricated diaspora of pre- British regime,ie,since 1777 where Paiko,Bisoyi, Soura communities lodged their keen fighting for freedom at Paralakhemundi till 1857.That illustrated their hardcore role despite bloodshed where about 18 among those communities were hanged & martyred.
Held at Chatrapur Government Science College,among others former VC of Utkal Sanskruti University Dr.Amiya Kumar Patnaik as chief guest,Dr.Sujit Panda Principal of Dharakote Government Degree College,as guest of honor Dr. Manmath Padhi former VC of Khallikote University Brahmapur,Head of the Department of History of host College Susant Das shared on dias.Chaired by Principal Dr.Ajay Kumar Tripathy speakers,too,viewed on illustrated writings of the writer. Writer of launched book Purnachandra Mohapatra elaborated details on his script to bring recognitions as first freedom fight launched from Paralakhemundi which he informed from his book “Parala Lalam” that sent to State & Central Government level.
90 years of freedom struggle brought a feather to be captive on Parala History as sages.
More than hundred literature lovers of Paralakhemundi,Brahmapur & Chatrapur attended;where host students were stimulated by vibrant speeches chorded deep silence.
