NRHQ organises Two-Day Communication Workshop

Lucknow,( 27/04/26):NTPC Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ), Lucknow, organised a two-day Communication Workshop for Northern Region(NR) and Southern Region (SR)recently, themed “Express ideas, inspire people, create impact.” The workshop aimed to strengthen communication skills, enhance media engagement, and build effective corporate messaging.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by NTPC Geet, with senior officials and participants from NR and SR in attendance. Shri S. N. Panigrahi, CGM (HR), NR & SR, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of effective communication for PR professionals. The inaugural session was graced by Shri Diwakar Kaushik, CEO (NSPCL) & RED (N), who emphasized the role of strategic communication in today’s digital era.

The workshop featured expert sessions by eminent professionals including Joe A Scaria, Mrinal Chatterjee, Manoj Sahay, and Ravindran Kesavan, covering storytelling, crisis communication, reputation management, and media handling.

The initiative reflects NTPC’s commitment to building strong communication capabilities.

On the second day, participants undertook a media industrial visit to the newspaper printing press, gaining practical insights into the complete newspaper production process—from news collection and design to printing and distribution—making it a valuable learning experience.
