Nandankanan Zoo Records Highest Revenue, Footfall in 2025-26

Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park logged its highest-ever revenue and visitor turnout in the financial year 2025-26, underlining its growing appeal as a leading wildlife tourism hub in India.
Official data shows the park earned Rs.26.31 crore during the year. Of this, ₹16.27 crore came from ticket sales, parking, camera fees and other visitor services. Outsourced facilities contributed ₹9.81 crore, while the ‘Adopt an Animal’ programme added Rs.0.23 crore.
The zoo recorded a total footfall of 39,76,615 visitors. This included 37,96,341 visitors to the zoological park and 1,80,274 to the State Botanical Garden.
