LPG Dealers of Berhampur City; Are they Godfather for Consumer (?).

Berhampur,( 22/04/26); The  ‘acute shortage’ of LPG cylinders has been  slowly normalise w in Berhampur City reported across several parts of Ganjam, with supply disruptions linked to the ongoing war in the Middle East affecting the availability of cooking gas.

Realising  the crisis by  taking advantage one step ahead the Ganjam Collector Mr.V.Keerthi Vasan, IAS  and Sub Collector ,Berhampur,Mr.Avinash Kumar, IAS, normalise the hue-queue situation. The top official had long discussion with the senior company executive for smooth distribution.  Other side  the enforcement wing directed to follow the instruction to avoid black marketing as well as sale at open market (!).

At the juncture of crisis when the consumers waiting for months eagerly and the administration trying to bring back incidentally or accidentally, according to source, adding to the crisis a grave action being taken against one  old Indene Gas dealer  with some  allegations  and the dealer asked to stop trading  unless until the inquiry process completed(!) Further, it came to know from a reliable source, the administration under circumstance of desperate feedback, they force to shut down for some reason which is under inquiry (!).

As a result a ll the existing accounts are being diverted in two part of two local Indane dealers around  forty thousand consumers (?).

 The existing consumers while noticed that their pass book has been transferred n they took  one day time to identify their new dealers.

The eager consumers irrespective of age  group  gender  have started making queue it observed  with apprehending  life risk with  temperature.

Further, information reveal on Tuesday at pick hour with  such high temperature aggrieved  people those have lost  their pertinence  have started on road before the door of Lingaraj gas are in exchange of  hot word between the  dealer and consumer  which about to lead law and order situation a version of retied Doctor . The dealer rude behaviour is just like ‘Togloki” monopolies.

While we enquired  the factual is in in issuing  the payment  bill  he is directing to all e consumers to  pick up  the refill from theirgodwon which is at National Highway (!)  With this the consumers demanded in place of Door Delivery why he id diverting to his Gowdown at NH. Subsequently the battle was normalise by the commuters.

Notably Lingaraj Gas authorization Seled and suspended for more than one year   while functioning at  Tatabenz  square .

Online (IVRS) Booking not giving any registration No ?

What’s up booking for do delivery – NO ring ?

Calling Dealer No reply? Even we tried before business hour/During Business Hour and after business hours?

They are just eye washing of the administration.

Are the God  father or Representative  ? Suppose  detaining for long tim again  forwarding  to deot with temp. Any thing goes a  old age customer lost  hs (???) who is accountable.

Last evening matter in detail  been apprised to th e SubCollector nd people ave trust on his administrative functional/

Consumers are real Governance they have all Citizen Rights, proably the dealer have no knowledge;  The distributor is teaching literature  to the consumers (!) with rude behaves.

The integrity of Supply officers are alsoo needed  to be kept under under scanner (?)?

One retired harassed consumer stating   to our Office  after  his online booking from 24th March and he got his delivery  status  scheduled for 29th March  but its so pity when the delivery date approached  his dealers office sealed now  he is running  to his new dealer Lingaraj every day post to pillar (!), it means the consumers can dance with their remote .

Further he stated hopelessly, stated to us on presentation of his delivery coupon   when failed to get his refill  f he s he regular coming to showroom and making queue  from morning 9 AM. When requested to the counter manager to know the deliver status? We have no stock  you need to wait because we are handling  two show rooms consumers.

On television screen Minister of food and Supplies assuring not to be panic we have adequate stock(?).
