Joint Public Grievance Hearing Camp Held at Bari Block Office

JAJPUR : A Joint Public Grievance Hearing Camp organized by the Jajpur District Administration was held in the conference hall of the Bari Block Office.
District Collector Shri Ambar Kumar Kar attended the camp and heard various grievances and complaints submitted by members of the public.
The District Collector stated that the concerned departmental officers would examine the complaints and that efforts would be made to resolve the problems of all eligible applicants.
A total of 72 complaints were registered during the hearing. Of these, 56 were related to individual grievances, while 16 applications sought assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Immediate disposal was made in 16 cases.
The camp was attended by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Jajpur Road), Additional District Magistrate Shri Yudhishthir Nayak, Additional Chief Development Officer of Zilla Parishad Shri Lambodar Khuntia, Darpan Tahasildar Shri Manas Kumar Tripathy, along with district-level, field-level, and block-level officers, who participated in hearing and addressing the grievances of the public.
Following the grievance hearing, District Collector Shri Ambar Kumar Kar visited Bari Block and inspected the historic and renowned Malia Pokhari and its surrounding areas under Bari Panchayat. In the presence of Bari MLA Shri Amar Kumar Nayak, he held discussions with officials from various departments regarding the restoration and renovation of the temple located in the middle of the pond, beautification of the area, and overall development of the surrounding locality.
During the visit, emphasis was laid on taking necessary steps to develop the pond and temple complex into an attractive heritage and tourist destination.
The visit was also attended by the Vice-Chairperson of the Zilla Parishad, the Tahasildar of Darpan, other departmental officers, and several distinguished local intellectuals.
