Rayagada, October 16: Elaborate preparations are in the final stages across JK Pur Chandili as the town gears up to celebrate Durga Puja with grandeur and devotional fervor.
Spearheaded by the JK Paper Mills Durga Puja Committee, this year’s festivities promise an expansive lineup spanning sacred rituals, high-energy cultural showcases, and large-scale public attractions.
A major visual highlight awaiting visitors is the main entrance gate, architecturally modeled after Kolkata’s renowned Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Craftsmen have spent weeks recreating the iconic terracotta-style structure to serve as the gateway to the primary pandal.
