Inter-state T-20 Cricket Tournament held at JK Pur
Rayagada, (Badal Tha) : In Anil Singh Memorial inter-state T-20 knock out-cum-league Cricket Tournament, which was held at JK Paper Mills Cricket ground, final match was played between Indian Navy, Visakhapatanam vs Vizag Super Novas, Visakhapatanam. Vizag Super Novas, Visakhapatanam won the toss and elected to field first. Indian Navy, Visakhapatanam scored 165 in 20 overs. Vizag Super Novas, Visakhapatanam bagged 125 runs in 20 overs. Finally, Indian Navy, Visakhapatanam won the match by 40 runs. Nitin Radha Tanwar was declared as man of the match for the final match and man of the series for the tournament. Similarly Subham Rohila and Nitin Radha Tanwar were declared as best batsman and best blower of the tournament respectively.
Vinay Dwivedi, Executive Vice President (Works), chief guest and Mr. Biswajeet Dwivedi, Vice President(Commercial), guest of honour and Mr. P Gouri Sankar, co-ordinator of Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha, Rayagada, special guest were present in the final match. The Chief guest Vinay Dwivedi, handed over the winning trophy to the Champion Indian Navy, Visakhapatanam team along with cash prize of Rs. one lakh. Guest of Honor Biswajeet Dwivedi, handed over the runners-up trophy and Cash Prize of Rs. Fifty Thousand to the Vizag Super Novas, Visakhapatanam and special gifts were sponsored by K K Singh to a few of the players.
Other dignitaries along with Sandhya Pulaka, ZP Member, Sundeep Pandey (GM-HR & IR), Ranjit Das, Mr. Yogesh Sahare, Mr. Arjit Swain, Mr. S.K. Samantroy, Mr. A K Tiwari and huge spectators from nearby villages and community were present to cheer and enjoy the game. At last, Dipak Kumar Samal gave vote of thanks to both of the teams, audiences, organizers, media and JK Sports Club members for their support in making the tournament successful. Milan Lenka, Public Relation Officer of JKPM provided the information about the final match and the tournaments.
