GANJAM TOURISM CELEBRATES WORLD TOURISM DAY;ONLY SELECTED SCRIBES NOTICED (!).

Berhampur,27/09/19: World Tourism Day celebrated at Gopalpur  this morning with bands without the knowledge of scribes (?). 

The major aspects of the celebration keeping in view more tourist footfalls to the district which has having vast tourism potential. 

The celebration included a Tourism Walk, Food Festival and Cultural Programme. In the morning Ganjam district Tourism organised a massive walk at Gopalpur. 

While Naveen Patnaik,Chief Minister of Odisha giving much  priority on Odisha Tourism to Puri and Ganjam,saying Ganjam district a vital part of tourism activities and is having much potency in Tourism which needs wide publicity through media to attract Tourist to visit Ganjam  as he represent from this district. 

Ganjam is an ideal choice for its scenic beauty, monuments, rivers and religious spots. A mix of moist peninsular high and low level Sal forests, tropical moist and dry deciduous and tropical deciduous forest types provide a wide range of forest products and unique lifestyle to wild life. Bhairabi, which consists of 108 temples, is a place of worship and popular destination for tourists. Taptapani, which consist of a hot sulphur spring that is 56 km from Berhampur, near Ganjam, is also a tourist destination Maa Tara Tarini sits on Taratarini Hill near Angu. Solaghar, Raipur is also a famous destination for tourists. Twin Goddess Tara and Tarini are worshipped there. Rushi kulya flows at the foot of the Taratarini Hill. The temple of the Goddess Mahuri Kaluaa is near a famous picnic spot by the same name located at the center of the town.

In previous years Ganjam district administration did variety of activity including  press people, school students and public displayed  variety of food items including Indian, continental dishes. Attractions included Odia Pitha & Kabab, Biriyani, Quick Service Snacks, Mocktail, Shakes, Bakery & Confectionary, Pizza, Chakuli & Mutton, Sea Food & Sea Fish, Tribal Food and Milk Products. 

Should we underline that, this just negligence or monopolies of the Tourist wing of Ganjam or any instructions as they Wish (?). 

Many citizens and senior citizens said that “We are Un Wanted” They  are not aware that the district administration celebrating the World Tourism Day-2019 in Ganjam.
