Gajapati-Irregularities on New Odisha Program

Paralakhemundi-New Odisha program concluded on 8th January. Started from 3rd January irregularities found.

Funds sanctioned for the program not properly maintained. Those who participated on this program particularly athlets too were not happy. Where cricket match should have played but Kho-kho & kabadi games played.

Food arrangements too not had quality even drinking water not properly distributed. With their own the players had to consume from their own pockets for food. Even those game requisites too used by own players. Proper registration not done where outsiders played.Officers hardly seen during games.

For the program 13 lakhs 85 thousands sanctioned. From which 1 lakh 40 thousand & arrangements of games 3 lakhs planned. Similarly for food more than 1 lakh, for publicities 50000 arranged. But quality on expenses not maintained.

On retrospect the responsible officer said no such irregularities found. Still learneds have quandary on such lavished program, moreso they retorted proper enquiry on management.
