FIVE NEW POSITIVE CASES FOUND IN KALAHANDI

KALAHANDI:Five new positive cases found reported in Kalahandi by a press release by the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer. All are from Golamunda block who were returned two from Maharastra, two from Telengana and one from Gujrat State. All were kept in the TMC from 17.05.2020 after their return and swabs collected on 19th May 2020. It is known that after their Institutional quarantine & being asymptomatic sent to Home quarantine. While they were in their home quarantine their result received positive & shifted them to dedicated Covid-19 Hospital at the Govt. Engineering College on 30.05.2020.
The CDM&PHO, Kalahandi said that the contact tracing of these five positive is going on and their swab to be tested.
With these five new cases , now there are 18 active cases in Kalahandi District and all are under treatment in Kalahandi Covid Hospital, Bhawanipatna. Meanwhile 3 suspect cases discharged from the Kalahandi Covid hospital after swab test found negative, he added.
