Financial Constraints Eclipsed Treatment at Hospital

Paralakhemundi:One Dijeb Mandal(31)of Balmunda village in Kujasing panchayat of Gumma block of Gajapati district was serving as migrant labourer at Rajmahendri of Andhrapradesh. At his foot a small wound marked.But that wound gradually soared larger & became septic. So he returned home. But he could not check up at nearest hospitalhospital due to lack awareness. On Hepatitis ‘B’ he is suffering. Instead of doing elopathic treatment he did some herbal treatment. But he failed on his progress towards cure. Now his leg covered by soaring with that wound. After getting information local ANM & ASHA staff told him to check up at hospital. Still his family denied. Later led by Dr. Chinmay of Gumma CHC with met him at his home & convinced for treatment. Still Dijeb’s family denied. So team convinced villagers & treatment started at his home. Though he is bed ridden he has to be admitted at hospital for better treatment said Dr. Parthopratyush Panda. His parents on pal grief of their son’s ailing. Villagers earnestly requested for support to the family & proper treatment.
