Farmers Showed with Destroyed Paddy Crop to Dist. Admn.

Paralakhemundi-On the eve of grievances that held at Kharsonda panchayat of Gosani block the farmers raised their taboos by showing destroyed paddy crops to Collector who chaired. Indeed procurement time ahead but still they are on curosity of yearly food security too. Due to lack of rain procurement devastated due to dried crops. Land use to mark crack everwhere even hardly 10℅ of procurement they expect.
Despite having water resources like Krushna Sagar, Radha Sagar & Gajapati Sagar but none of those water bodies could vintilate irrigation purpose. So due to hard & toil on farming where output decline they are on stubborn for migration for breads to their families. Even they appealed to Collector such core issues of drought. So declaration of drought prone block & financial compensation they demanded.
Among other grievances both individual(38) & community level(68) in total 108 appeal received. 2 beneficiaries sanctioned each ₹10000 from CM Relief Fund.
SP Gajapati Swathy S. Kumar,ADM Birendra Kumar Das,Block Chairman NVeerraju, BDO Ajay Kumar Pradhan, Tehsildar Narayan Behera & other district & block officials were present. Among other panchayats of the block Madhusudanpur, Bagusala, Uppalada & Namangada of Gumma block grievances received.
