District-Level Grievance Redressal Camp Held at Girikanapalli; Collector Hears 45 Complaints

Malkangiri, August 31, 2026: A district-level grievance redressal camp was successfully organised at the Girikanapalli Gram Panchayat premises by the district administration.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of Malkangiri Collector Prathamesh Aravind Rajeshirke. Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, along with senior officials from various departments of the district, attended the camp.
Hundreds of local residents participated in the grievance hearing and brought their individual and community-related problems to the notice of the administration. The Collector patiently heard each complaint and directed the concerned departmental officials to take prompt steps for their resolution.
A total of 45 complaints were registered during the camp, including 10 individual complaints and 35 community-related complaints.
The complaints mainly concerned basic public issues such as drinking water supply, installation and repair of tube wells, provision of pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, construction and repair of rural roads, improvement of electricity services, low-voltage problems, old-age and widow pensions, issuance of new ration cards, and local land disputes.
The district administration emphasised resolving people’s grievances at the grassroots level. The Collector directed all concerned departmental officials to resolve the registered complaints within a specified time frame and submit Action Taken Reports (ATRs) on the steps taken.
