Congress Leader Sura Routray’s Son Manmath Joins BJD
Bhubaneswar, (Odishabarta): Manmath Routray, the son of senior Congress leader and Jatni MLA Sura Routray joined the BJD in a mega Mishrana Parba event organized at Sankha Bhawan on Wednesday.
It is expected that Manmath may fight from the Jatni assembly seat or the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat on a BJD ticket. His father Sura Routray has already hinted that he will stay away from electoral politics.
Earlier in September 2023, Manmath had clarified that he will not contest the 2024 general election on a Congress ticket.
