Cheligada Displaced Sanctioned Ex-Gratia 8 Crores

Paralakhemundi:Long demand of proposed Cheligada Project displaced hanged. Their continuous appeal before district & state administration now steered signal to receive compensations. 

78 such displaced families knocked several times; this time administration pulled their woes towards jubilation. 

As per notifications they are sanctioned 8,48,63,932 as ex-gratia amount.

Villagers of Suguda,Tiligaon, Chadiapada,Kakili & Bidyadharpur of 78 families will be benefitted. As per Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Amendment Act 2006 they are shortlisted. 

As per notification by Government only after rehabilitation they will be sanctioned.Accordingly benefit amount will be transferred directly to their respective accounts. So that transparency & accountability can be maintained. 

Strict instruction ensured by State Administration to Gajapati District Administration to check malafide or fraud domicile documents instead of legalized documents of those beneficiaries. 

All accessories regarding sanction of amount will be preamble during 2026-27 Financial Year. 

So before sanction all quality process is to be ensured & completed by the District Administration before sanction, State Administration instructed to District Administration.
