Campaign Against Liquor Sales at Gajapati

Paralakhemundi-At Chandiput of Mohana block various women organizations with all 14 members of Chandiput panchayat campaigned against liquor selling. As declared model panchayat to Chandiput; where hospital, school, college,bank & other government offices are established.Where more than hundreds use to turn up for their official works.But matter of shame that some business tycoons openly selling liquor that impact adversely to public where their families are in havoc state. Even unsocial wings are evasive to act vividly by creating intolerance. More than 50 women unitedly met with BDO of Mohana & given a memorandum too.They also sent copies to Collector & SP of Gajapati district. If their demands not fulfilled to shut down those liquor shops,they warned to turn up on road at block office  with crowd pulling.
