BN Pur Police arrest Murder Accused

Berhampur:The instant case was registered following the written Complaint Chhabirani Mahanty (32) D/O JogendraMahanty of HatibandhaSahi P.S- B.N Pur Dist- Ganjam regarding murder of her cousin sister Kuna Mahanty @ Kuriani @ BijayalaxmiMahanty (50) W/O Drona Kishore Mahnty of Vill. Mahuda, While She was alone in her residenceon 23.11.2021 at 1.30 PM by one Rabi @ Rabinarayan Nahak. The accused assaulted the deceased by the above weapon inflicting profuse bleeding head injury killing her instantly on the spot.
During investigation the accused has been arrested followed by discovery the of weapon of offence and forwarded to court today. The investigation is on.
