Blood Donation Camp at JK Paper Mills to commemorate Late Singhania’s Birth Anniversary

Rayagada, June 20: On the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary of Late Hari Shankar Singhania, former Chairman of JK group, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with the Rayagada Blood Bank at the mill premises. The camp was formally inaugurated by Vinay Dwivedi, Executive Vice President (Works). Employees of the Mills and their family members enthusiastically participated in the camp, resulting in collection of 166 units of blood.

Among those present at the inauguration were Biswajit Dwivedi, Vice President (Commercial), Sundeep Pandey, General Manager (HR & Development), Dr. K.V.R. Rao, Chief Medical Officer, JK Dispensary and Dr. K. Sreekanth. The blood collection was carried out by the team from Rayagada Blood Bank comprising Dr. Sudipta Kumar Ram, Dr. K. Naveen, Umakanta Mishra, Jagan Raj Pattnaik, and Usha Rani Behuria.

The programme was coordinated by the Welfare Department of the Mills. Ranjit Kumar Das, Deputy General Manager, Shiba Prasad Rath, Asst Manager and Shivankar Panda, Senior Officer, played a key role in organizing and conducting the event successfully. The camp reflected JK’s continued commitment towards social responsibility and community welfare.
