BJP’s Public Outrage Padayatra in Jajpur Assembly Constituency’s

BJD, Congress and otherr Alliance termed anti-women

JAJPUR : A massive women’s padayatra (march) under the banner of “Jan Aakrosh” was organized by the BJP in Ward No. 6 under Dasarathpur Block of Jajpur Assembly Constituency.Led by Goutam Ray, hundreds of women marched from the Kanikapada Panchayat Office holding placards highlighting the alleged anti-women policies of opposition parties. Participants raised slogans against the BJD, Congress and INDIA Alliance during the rally.

Later, a roadside meeting was held near Thalkudi Chandaneswar Temple, where speakers presented information on women’s empowerment initiatives undertaken by the Modi government and criticized the BJD, Congress and INDIA Alliance, alleging anti-women policies.

Ramesh Chandra Samal, Subas Chandra Mohanty, Abhimanyu Mohanty, Pramod Panda, Badal Nanda, Manmath Baral, Indrajit Das and Patitapaban Mohanty coordinated the procession and guided the women participants to Chandaneswar Temple in an organized manner.

Vehicular movement through Mangalpur Bazaar was disrupted for nearly 45 minutes due to the large gathering. Two ambulances caught in the traffic were reportedly assisted across the route by BJP leaders.

The participation of hundreds of women in the BJP padayatra is being viewed by party supporters as a sign of growing strength for BJP leader Goutam. It is also being said that the march has boosted the morale of party workers ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections.
