ANKITA ANNAPURNA MALLIK (JW-NCC-CADET) RDC PARTICIPANT FROM UNDIVIDED KORAPUT-ODISHA

Sunabeda : 13/02/23: Sergeant Ankita Annapurna Mallick, student Class IX of V S Vidyalaya, HAL Township, Sunabeda has represented NCC Directorate- Odisha at RDC (Republic Day Contingent) Parade-2023 at New Delhi. She is basically a good singer and dancer. She has been actively participating in all school related activities from her childhood. She joined NCC girl’s wing in the year 2021 when she was in class 8th. She was inspired by the senior cadets who participated in different National level Camps and developed the zeal to reach the same level of success. As a part of that she improved her skills in Drill, Firing, Singing and Dancing during her NCC 2 years course. Her journey to RDC Delhi started from ATC (Annual Training Camp) at Rayagada and got selected at every level and attended many camps continuously at Nabarangpur, Cuttuck, Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar at last New Delhi (From August-2022 to February 2023) . She is the only Girl cadet – Junior wing got selected from undivided Koraput district. Out 7 JW cadets represented Odisha she is one among them.
She has participated in PM Rally and various cultural programs performed by cultural team of Odisha Directorate. She was felicitated by Deputy Director General (DDG-Odisha) with a certificate of commendation and appreciated by the Commanding Officer – 2 Odisha Girl’s Battalion- Rayagada. She is also felicitated and appreciated by School Management (AES), Mr. B K Mishra Principal (Offg.), Second Officer- Dr G Vinodkumar (ANO-Boys wing), Third Officer- Ms Arati Rani Sahu (ANO-Girl’s wing) Mr Sandeep Patnaik NCC adviser and all the teachers of the school.
