ROURKELA: Muktikant Biswal a social worker and a well know figure of Rourkela have started his dare and devil act of cycling from Rourkela to Delhi about 1450 kms by cycle to support farmers protest in Singhu border near Delhi. He had exhibited his brilliance of strong confidence to take the issue of Rourkela to Delhi in 2018 by keeping a goal to meet Honble’ Prime Minister, Narnedra Modi who had once committed in a public rally in Rourkela to make IGH a Super Specialty Hospital and to construct a new bridge on Brahmani River which was long pending till 2018.

Bisal successfully completed his journey despite many odds but the unfortunate thing was he could not meet PM then. Anyway, he successfully circulated his message across the country.

This time he has picked up another burning issue of farmers protest against three farmers bill which was passed in the parliament last year and farmers are now objecting this bill by camping is Singhu and Tikri border for more than 2 months time. Although there had been 9 talks between representatives of more than 40 farmers union and the central Govt., no outcome has yet come.

Now Supreme court has intervened after petition by volunteers and the Govt.. This issue has kept the warmth and farmers have been accumulating in the borderer of Delhi and camped there despite severe cold. Many Opposition parties also have extended their support. Muktikant Biswal’s movement will certainly give another boost for the famers.

Since it is a hectic and tired some journey, every plan have been chalked out by Muktikant and his team and planned to cover all these distance in 15 days time. For the cause they have taken advice of trained personnel to how to complete this strenuous journey. On the first day they have planned to cross Odisha border which is 45kms and next 4 days have been scheduled to complete Jharkhand (450kms), four days to cross Bihar (350kms), one day to cross Haryana (80kms), five days to cross UP (525kms).
