OPENING OF RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS OF KORAPUT DISTRICT WILL REOPEN ON THE 30th & CLOSE ON 31st.

KORAPUT:All religious institutions will be opened in Koraput district from 30. But on the 31st, 1st and 2nd, all religious institutions in the district will be closed. It will open regularly from the 3rd. This was informed by Koraput Collector /District Magistrate Madhusudan Mishra.
The District Magistrate met with all the district’s representatives and religious representatives to discuss the opening of the religious Temples, Churches , etc.
After the discussion, it was decided to open a religious institution. But in view of the crowds, it has been decided to close the shrine before and after the New Year.
According to sources, all religious institutions across the country were closed due to corona pandemic. Religious institutions are being reopened as corona positive reduction noticed. Later First, the Puri Sri Jagannath Temple is open for devotees. Only the people of Puri are seeing the Lord. Regular temples will open from the 3rd of next month. Devotees can see the Lord by following the COVID-19 guidelines.
The said meeting was headed by DM cum Collector Madhusudan Mishra in presence of Raghuram Padal, MLA & DPC-Chairman, Koraput, Iswar Chandra Panigrahi, Chairman, Seeds corporations,Taraprasad Bahanipati, MLA, Jeypore Mrs. Tulasi Kirsani, ZP, president, Manoj Acharya, M.P representative and govt. Officials were present.
