COP CAUGHT RED HANDED BY VIGILANCE COP IN GANJAM

GANJAM:Thursday at about 12.15 PM, one Cadet Sub-Inspector Sidhartha Kumar Gouda presently attached to J.N.Prasad Police station in Ganjam under deputation was caught red handed by the officers of Vigilance Berhampur Division.
Sources, said, accused Siddhartha while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 3000/- from the Complainant at J.N.Prasad PS premises for not to register any criminal case over a dispute.
While the complainant .handed over the bribe money to the accused Sri Gouda, who received the money and kept in his right pocket.But vigilance caught him checked his right side pant pocket from where the bribe money has been recovered and the amount has been seized.
The Vigilance experts wash his right hand pant pocket of accused which gave positive chemical reaction. The accused Gouda has been arrested and will be forwarded to the Court.
It may be underlined the above demand was made for not to register any case against the complainant. Earlier a complain petition against the complainant which was filed in the Police Station by one Narayana Dalabehera of his village and the accused CSI was enquiring the matter.
ASP,Santanu Padhi told to scribes, the search is going at his native house at Rauti Main Road, in Ganjam.
