Rayagada Autonomous College Hosts Career Counselling & Personality Development Workshop Under ‘Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan 2026’

Rayagada, October 28: To equip undergraduate students with competitive career skills and workplace readiness, Rayagada Autonomous College organized a comprehensive workshop on “Career Counselling and Personality Development” on campus.
The event was held under the joint aegis of the college’s Shaktishree Empowerment Cell and Career Counselling Cell as part of the Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan 2026.
Presiding over the session, Principal Dr. Saraswati Ray underscored that academic merit must be reinforced with strong interpersonal traits to build a resilient career. She urged students to cultivate self-discipline, time management, and clear goal-setting while maintaining a proactive and positive mindset.
The technical sessions featured insights from distinguished faculty resource persons. Lt. Udaya Naik, Head of the English Department and Coordinator of Seva Sankalpa, conducted a practical module covering effective public speaking, professional self-presentation, CV drafting, and interview techniques.
Bhabesh Mohanty, Head of the Mathematics Department, addressed the mechanics of logical reasoning and quantitative preparation, emphasizing daily problem-solving to tackle state and national competitive examinations.
The session, coordinated by Dr. Lizarani Sathpathy (Shaktishree Sanjojika), saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 students alongside faculty across multiple disciplines.
The event drew to a close with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Sruti Deepali Samal, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) and Co-Sanjojika of the Shaktishree Cell.
