Malkangiri District Collector Inaugurates PNB ATM; Aid Distributed to Beneficiaries

Malkangiri, 17/09/26:A new ATM of Punjab National Bank has been inaugurated in Malkangiri town. Malkangiri District Collector and District Magistrate, Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke, attended the ceremony held on Thursday as the chief guest and inaugurated the ATM.
Senior bank officials and staff, including Pratap Kumar Bairiganjan, the Berhampur Circle Head of Punjab National Bank, were present on the occasion. During the event, financial assistance and equipment were distributed to various beneficiaries to promote agriculture and women’s empowerment in the district. Notably, a paddy harvesting machine was provided to Ranjit Mandal, while financial aid of ₹6 lakh and ₹10 lakh was extended to the ‘Jai Maa Durga’ and ‘Sai’ Self-Help Groups, respectively.
The launch of the new ATM facility in Malkangiri will enable local bank customers to easily access cash withdrawals and other essential ATM services. This initiative will play a significant role in making banking services in the district more accessible and customer-friendly.
