Malkangiri, 12/09/26:The district administration is carrying out extensive relief operations to tackle the emergency situation arising from heavy rainfall in the district. With transportation completely disrupted in various areas due to severe flooding, the entire government machinery has been placed on high alert under the direct leadership of Collector Prathmesh Arvind Rajeshirke. Prioritizing public safety above all else, the Collector personally visited the Poteru and Kanyashram bridge areas to directly oversee the situation.

Transportation along various routes has come to a complete standstill as floodwaters are flowing over bridges due to heavy rainfall. Numerous buses and other vehicles remain stranded on either side of the roads and bridges.
