In view of the prevailing emergency situation, and with the objective of ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order, the Malkangiri district administration has ordered the closure of all liquor shops across the district.
Acting under the directions of District Collector and District Magistrate Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke, an emergency order was issued on Friday, September 12, 2026, directing that all licensed liquor outlets in the district remain completely closed until further orders.
