Tribal Opportunities in Rayagada:Announcement of ANM, GNM & DMLT Educational Institution, Arts & Skills Training for Youth

Rayagada, September 9: A journalists’ fellowship meet and luncheon program was organized by Bhubaneswar-based Utkal Khadi Mandal at Gopalwadi in Rayagada district, bringing together journalists from various leading daily newspapers across the district.

On this occasion, extensive discussions were held regarding the socio-economic development of Rayagada district and the self-reliance of the tribal community

Journalists were apprised of the efforts of Utkal Khadi Mandal toward coordinating with local tribal groups to protect their traditional arts, culture, and handicrafts, while fostering economic self-sufficiency.

During this conference, keeping the future of the youth of Rayagada district in mind, two major initiatives were announced: First, Establishment of a Health Educational Institution: To make the youth of Rayagada self-reliant by providing education and skill development in the healthcare sector, there is a plan to establish a new educational institution offering ANM, GNM, and DMLT courses. Second, Arts & Skills Training: Special training programs will be conducted to train the youth of the district in diverse traditional and modern arts as well as vocational skills.

For the comprehensive and holistic development of Rayagada, Utkal Khadi Mandal sought the active cooperation of villagers, rural leaders, and the scribes. At the conclusion of the event, media representatives and the organizers took part in the luncheon and engaged in cordial discussions regarding future developmental roadmaps for Rayagada district.
