52 Grievances Received; Forest Land Leases, Social Security Benefits and Sports Equipment Distributed

Malkangiri, September 7, 2026: A district-level monthly joint grievance redressal camp was held at the Khairput Panchayat Samiti office premises in Malkangiri district on Monday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Pratesh Arvind Rajeshirke.

District Magistrate Pratesh Arvind Rajeshirke, Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, District Forest Officer Sai Kiran and senior officials from various departments were present at the camp and heard the grievances of local residents.

A total of 52 grievances were received during the camp, including 11 personal grievances and 41 relating to rural issues. The administration resolved some of the grievances on the spot and directed the concerned departments to take prompt action on the remaining issues.

During the programme, the District Magistrate distributed forest land lease documents and social security allowances to eligible beneficiaries. Sports equipment was also distributed among local youths under the Gramoday scheme to encourage them to participate in sports and physical activities.

Later, the District Magistrate visited Khairput Government High School, where he interacted with the students and also took a class. He subsequently visited the Pragati Pathe Yuva Malkangiri Centre and reviewed the ongoing construction of a new medical centre.

The District Magistrate instructed the officials concerned to maintain high-quality standards in the construction work and ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
