STF, ODISHA SEIZES BROWN SUGAR IN BHUBANESWAR

BHUBANESWAR: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha effected 1.012 kg of Brown sugar from Tomando area under Bhubaneswar on Monday. Two persons namely Ajaya Mohapatra of Village Channagiri PS Jankina and Bibhuti Bhusan Jena of Jamusahi PS Begunia have been arrested and another accused absconded from spot according to STF,range office information Bhubaneswar.
Notably, out of the above accused person Ajaya Mohapatra was earlier booked under NDPS act in Khurda district.
Due to sustained drive during 2020 so far STF alone has seized 7.768 Kg of Brown Sugar and detected 18 cases against the drug peddlers.
The magnitude of such seizure will become evident from the fact that the total seizure of 2020 till date by STF alone is more than that the total cumulative seizure made by all agencies of Odisha Police during last 4 years.
