Culprit Behind Stolen Pipe Meters Arrested by Paralakhemundi Police

Yet again as a successful adventure by Paralakhemundi Police of Gajapati district,to strangulate the kingpin behind stolen meters of tape water connections from different houses.On a press meeting,IIC of Paralakhemundi Model Police Station detail drew the under current of a chap named Taduturu Vishnu(27)of Gajendra street, Paralakhemundi;who has been arrested. 

Through cctv footage he has been dragged & from his home 15 meters seized.Public Health Division of Paralakhemundi installed door to door meter connections at Paralakhemundi since few years back.Costed about @ 7000 made by brass those meters weighed 500 to 800 gms each. 

Since 2025 that goon was on his rampage to steal meters from houses at night.He later sold those meters to scrap dealers & was earning earnestly his income on illegal venture.As a result consumers suffered on daily consumption of drinking water.With their own expenses they used to reconnect tape water connections with their own expenses. 

Detail investigation is going on to trace out more information,said IIC Paralakhemundi Prasant Kumar Bhupati.
