Paralkhemundi,( 07/07/26):Gajapati district Administration raided at long run child home at Rangamati under Mohana Police limits & sealed that Institution.
As per information since years together Happy Children Home was running illegally.Several critical issues flashed under limelight regarding broken building,broken door & windows;where those 79 inmate kids were staying in that dilapidated structure.
Run by one Pratima Biro hardly taken seriously despite received notice of administration, instead some of those inmates suffered on precarious health conditions, where no attention taken by management for optimum care.
At last led by Executive Magistrate cum Tehsildar Mohana Chakradhar Padhi, District Education Officer Dr.Mayadhar Sahu,District Child Protection Officer (DCPO)Arun Kumar Tripathy,District Child Welfare Committee Chairman Amiya Tripathy,Sarala Patra Protection Officer under District Social Welfare Department with SI Police Mohana Rasmita Mallick raided that institution on Tuesday.
70 inmate kids rescued & they were back with their parents.Rest 9 inmates’ parents are yet to receive them.Still district administration has taken mandatory step to rehabilitate in various short stay homes recognized by administration,said DCPO Gajapati.
Still guessing part flashed,why so long those kids sufferings not reached at administration.Though better late than never administration had taken step to join those kids in mainstream.
